Desert Star Hotel

Located on the southeastern edge of the Tengger Desert in Ningxia, Shapotou combines the features of the desert, the Yellow River, mountains, and oases. It is known for its magnificent scenery, resembling the Yin and Yang Tai Chi diagram. It is also home to historical sites such as the Qin Great Wall, a UNESCO World Heritage site.


Imperial Tombs of Western Xia

Which are the tombs of the emperors and royals of the Western Xia dynasty. The tombs are located in the west of Yinchuan, near the Helan Mountains, with an elevation ranging from 1130 to 1200 meters. They are one of the largest and most well-preserved imperial tomb complexes in China and a significant cultural heritage site of the Western Xia civilization.


Desert Museum

Experience the great achievements in desertification control, and enjoy the breathtaking views described by the Tang Dynasty poet Wang Wei as "the desert smoke straight, the Yellow River sunset round." Experience thrilling entertainment activities such as speedboat surfing, sheepskin rafting, camel riding, and sand sliding.


Visit Beichangtan Ancient Village

A cluster of traditional local houses located in the North Mountain. The houses are built against the mountains, creating a three-dimensional effect with varying heights.


66th Highway

The road runs through mountains, undulating hills, and parallels the Yellow River. Its straight path extends to the horizon, giving a sense of the magnificent and desolate Gobi desert landscape, similar to the famous Route 66 in the western United States.


Day 1: Arrive at Yinchuan Airport and transfer to the hotel for check-in. Enjoy a Buffet dinner at the hotel. Stay at Yinchuan JW Marriott Hotel.

Enjoy dinner at the hotel, followed by a stargazing lecture and a romantic stargazing experience in the desert.

Day 3: Desert Star Hotel 

Enjoy free activities provided by the hotel in the morning. 

In the afternoon, Premium Members can experience the hotel's signature sand therapy spa, which utilizes selenium atoms, known as the "king of anti-cancer," from the deep layers of the Tengger Desert. It enhances immune function, fights oxidation, and prevents aging. There is no problem that cannot be solved with a sand therapy spa. In spring, it relieves dryness; in summer, it dispels dampness; in autumn, it moisturizes the lungs; and in winter, it warms the Dantian.

Day 4: Toujing Lake. Outdoor BBQ dinner at the campsite

Toujing Lake in the Tengger Desert Wetland 

You will encounter low grasslands and may witness animal migrations (camels, herds of cattle and sheep). There will be a 30-minute desert crossing. 

Rest and take photos by the lakeside of the desert wetland. 

Enjoy lunch (including braised lamb or chicken with seasonal vegetables) and afternoon tea (including Inner Mongolian milk tea/desert red tea, camel milk strips, desserts, and seasonal fruit platter) by the lakeside. 

Have an outdoor BBQ dinner at the campsite. 

Overnight at Huanghe Hotel or Feiniao Hotel


Day 5: Visit Beichangtan Ancient Village, take photos at the famous 66th Highway, and visit the Film and Television City.

Visit Beichangtan Ancient Village 

Drive along the famous 66th Highway, which many netizens regard as a must-drive road in their lifetime. 

The road runs through mountains, undulating hills, and parallels the Yellow River. Its straight path extends to the horizon, giving a sense of the magnificent and desolate Gobi desert landscape, similar to the famous Route 66 in the western United States. 

Visit the Film and Television City in Zhenbeibu, also known as the "Oriental Hollywood." The Western Film City features a rustic, primitive, rugged, and desolate setting and is one of the three major film and television cities in China and the only famous one in western China. It has been widelytranslated for film and television productions. Enjoy dinner on your own expenses and stay at Yinchuan JW Marriott Hotel.


Day 6: Depart from Yinchuan. After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Yinchuan Airport for departure.

Registration notice:
1. The price is per person, and at least two people must register at the same time. Child (12 years old or younger) pays the same as an adult.
2. The passenger is responsible for obtaining a travel visa and handling their own immigration process. If a personal issue impedes the immigration procedure, the company will bear no liability and will not refund any cost.
3. The air-conditioned tour bus will be organized according to the number of passengers, ensuring that each passenger has a seat.
4. Hotel rooms are based on twin occupancy; single rooms will incur a surcharge.
5. There is no hotel star rating in some cities in China; instead, a basic hotel is evaluated mostly on room furnishing and interior decoration.
A. The maximum occupancy of a standard twin room at the hotel is 2 adult + 1 child without an extra bed. 
B. Due to environmental concerns, the hotel may not give complimentary toothpaste, toothbrushes, slippers, and adaptor socket/plugs.  Please bring your own. 
6. If a passenger is compelled to cancel the entire trip on-site, the company will not accept responsibility and will not reimburse any costs.
7. The company will not accept any registration from anyone under the age of 18 unless they are traveling with an adult.
8. The tour leader reserves the right to change the itinerary if necessary. In the case that unanticipated events prevent a passenger from visiting certain sites, there will be no reimbursement from the company.
9. It is recommended that travelers store their travel documents in the hotel deposit box and take responsibility for their goods and safety.
10. Flight details must be provided 3 weeks prior to arrival
11. Airport transfer is just for Airport listed on Arrival and Departure only

1. As per the guidelines set forth by the general administration of Chinese customs, commodities acquired from outside the country may require special handling during the customs process. 3. Please be mindful of your personal safety when shopping. Please carry your valuables; do not leave them in the tour bus. It is not permitted to eat, drink, or stand inside the bus. Always fasten your seatbelt while the bus is running .

Cancellation policy
1. Once registration is confirmed, all tours and accommodations is strictly non-refundable. In the event of a force majeure event, the company will not accept any cancellations for personal reasons. 

2. Cancellation within 90 days is no Cancellation fee .
Cancellation within 60 days is subject to a 50% cancellation fee.
Cancellation within 30 days is subject to a 100% cancellation fee.
